Flexible fittings for transition to different pipe materials

When do we use flexible connections?
In many cities and towns, the municipal sewer lines are still made of old concrete pipes or sometimes even clay pipes. In these situations, we replace the entire section up to the municipal connection with new SDR28 pipe, then install a specially designed flexible transition fitting to connect the new plastic pipes to the old concrete or clay pipes.
These flexible couplings are made of rubber and held securely in place by strong metal collars. They provide a long-lasting seal and exceptional strength, especially when well compacted with 0–3/4 stone all around. This type of coupling ensures a strong, reliable connection that is built to last.
